This seems to be another pro-Lukashenko clip. Before I saw those clips, I thought I was against Lukashenko.
In any case, I watched the entire clip this time.
In the clip, they mention that there were 60,000 "people demanding the overthrow of the government", in a city of 1,800,000. In other words,
3.33%.
Disgusting! These people don't seem to respect the wishes of the "silent majority."

The silent majority is an unspecified large majority of people in a country or group who do not express their opinions publicly.
As for the "mystery man" - my best guess is that he is working for the "opposition." Let me explain. He could be a civilian using his blackberry. In the clip he is not talking. Then again, he could be listening to his friends describing their vandalism in another part of Minsk.
Assume he is not a civilian. It would make sense for the government to infiltrate the crowd. This way, they could start arresting the troublemakers, if the troublemakers were to do anything stupid. The troublemakers would also think twice before becoming violent, if they were to see people who seem to be cops.
In the clip, we Never See this man breaking the glass. There is absolutely no proof that he was an "agent provocateur." THINK About It -
he can see that he is being filmed, but he continues listening to his blackberry - which of the two possibilities (1. he is there to ensure that things don't get out of control or 2. he is an agent provocateur) is this more consistent with?!
Yes, the fact that he is not hiding from the camera says a lot. The people who gain the most from an image like that are the opposition (assuming people don't give this a second thought). Enough said.
And surely there is no need to comment on "intercepted radio transmission" that someone uploaded to the Internet.
In Canada, all we can do is envy Belorussians. Our police allowed "activists" to destroy and
loot stores in a major city. Their police didn't.
Having said all of this, in the very unlikely case that those Were KGB provocateurs, I am still not sorry for the people who were detained. When you are one of the 3.33% who take to the streets, one of the risks that you are taking is that some of the people around you are provocateurs. I know that if I were to live in Belorus, I would not be among the people
disturbing the peace, so I would not be detained. They could see it coming.
