Dear Mr. ---,
This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.
Please be advised that in order to finalize the processing of your application, you shouldprovide us with an evidence that you have a minimum of $ 12.400 (Canadian) and that these funds are unencumbered, that is to say, they must be exclusive of any outstanding financial obligations that you have or may incur after immigration visas are issued such as transportation fees, removal costs and/or service fees to third parties. The funds may not be a loan from a friend or relative. The sum on deposit must be equivalent in Canadian dollars to the amount needed for resettlement purposes (as provided above) plus any outstanding or anticipated debts. The evidence of sufficient funds must be in the form of:
1) bank statements for an account created in your name, for a one year period; or
2) proof of ownership of real estate or other personal property (a car) which you have clear title to and intend to sell prior to immigrating. The proof must be from a neutral third party (such as a bank or other organization which evaluates the worth of property in order to issue secured loans). You should ensure you take these funds with you, as the assistance available in Canada from the government will be very limited. The total will be recorded in your immigration file and be available to Immigration offices in Canada..
We also require that you provide a declaration stating that you will have no financial obligations upon your arrival in Canada or, alternatively, if you have or anticipate having financial obligations, a declaration listing each of those financial obligations and the amount.
Please note that immigrant visas cannot be issued until the Right of Permanent Residence Fee in the amount of $490 CDN for you and your spouse has been paid. The fees are payable in the form of money order, traveller’s cheques, or certified cheques made payable to RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA and are to be sent to the Canadian Embassy in Warsaw. Please note that money orders are considered valid for only six months from the date of issuance. You may also pay in cash, but only in person at the Canadian Embassy in Warsaw. Do NOT send cash by mail.
Please provide us also with copies of valid passports for you and your spouse.
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR VISAS WILL BE VALID UNTIL ---.
Sincerely,
Immigration Section
