Here are the two alternatives:

1. Have a kid, or even three kids. That changes nothing, and will mean a bad future for your kids and for your grandkids (if any).

2. Don't have a kid. The future of the country is the same is in #1 above, but no kid will be stuck with a bad future.

And talking about ""будущее" наступит не через 50 лет, а значительно быстрее", all you have to do, is move to a small town. That will buy you an additional 20 years or even a lot more.

А не приходит в голову, что детям это может и понравиться? Конечно, родителям-то, в том числе и потенциальным, виднее. Они же умные, книжки читают. Но вот ... вдруг!? Неужели никакого шанса не оставляете детям самим решать - хорошо им будет или плохо? Ведь у них варианты такие: либо не рождаться, либо родиться и самим посмотреть - хорошо им будет или плохо. Я бы вот, например, выбрал второй вариант.

Я просто к тому, что когда говорят, что не хотят рожать детей потому, что для них, для детей, это будет лучше, то тут присутствует доля здорового лукавства. Никто за самих детей ведь не может решить - что для них хорошо, а что плохо.

Но я, видимо, неправильный ребенок.

And since most suffering is much more intense than the so-called "happiness", then the odds that the kid will like it here have to be Really High, in order for someone who cares about what the kid thinks to consider having a kid.

Since you are not taking into account the possibility that the kid won't like it here, and since you are not interested in assigning probabilities to these outcomes, it is clear that you don't really care about what the kid will think.

And of course it all Has to end Very badly, even for the "successful winners". Personally, I believe that my parents are guilty of forcing me to experience my future death. A murderer is someone who forces another person to experience death. Enough said. (Of course, having said all of that, I have absolutely no fear of death. It is something I am really looking forward to.) And by the way, I had numerous tests done, and my mental health is fine. Yes, that means that I am not depressed. I am just a bit of a curmudgeon, defined as "a crusty irascible cantankerous old person full of stubborn ideas".

Если дело не в страданиях от смерти, то как ни крути, а вариант самому попробовать как минимум несет бОльшие возможности для любого индивида, чем вариант не родиться.

Предлагаю спросить у уважаемого сообщества:

Уважаемые форумчане, прошу вашего мнения. Допустим, вам предоставили выбор: родиться или не рождаться. При этом вы знаете, что ваши родители уверены, что жизнь ваша будет ужасна, и что они из самых лучших побуждений вам желают выбрать вариант "не рождаться".
Что бы вы выбрали?

Your argument is that a parent can decide FOR ANOTHER PERSON that this person should experience something IN CASE the person will end up enjoying the experience. I believe I have a good analogy for your argument:

A man can say -

"I will break into the next house I see, and make love to all of the women (and men) there. Some will call it "rape", but I can justify my behaviour as follows: what if the women (and men) LIKE it?! If there is a chance that they will like it, it is my Responsibility to make love to these people."

Не уверен, что эмоции можно измерять таким образом. Кого-то может напугать до разрыва сердца и трухлявый пень в сумерках.
Психика человека устроена так, что она имеет хорошую защиту от страданий. Вернее, не так. Само страдание - есть полезная предохраняющая функция организма, созданная ... скажем так, природой, просто не знаю, какова ваша модель мира, принимаете ли вы теорию эволюции или понимаете мир по-другому. Когда страдание начинает приносить нестерпимую боль, то организм ставит защитные блоки. Например, человек, переживший потерю близких в аварии может внезапно "забыть" о случившимся. Сознание стирает память о травмирующем событии. Если человек получает ужасную физическую травму, то умное тело может войти в состояние шока, когда боль может не чувствоваться вообще.
Иногда, этот механизм может давать и сбой, но очень редко.

Что касается поедания одними других, то да, это и есть способ существования жизни на земле. Одни кушают других. Вы умрете, а ваше тело скушают бактерии, их скушают грибы, их скушают черви, их скушают птички и так далее. И птички друг с другом воюют, чтобы следующее поколение было сильнее и более приспособлено к жизни.

Неужели этот факт означает, что этот процесс неправильный, несправедливый, и что его нужно остановить? Ну, нет проблем, собрать все ядерные заряды, и трах-тарарах! И нет больше такой несправедливости. Только, вот незадача, в таком сценарии не будет победителя. Кто же ощутит глубокое удовлетворение от установившейся мировой справедливости?

Мой аргумент такой, что если у живого организма и есть предназначение на земле, то это, в первую очередь, рожать детей. Все его тело для этого создано. Для этого у него есть сексуальный инструмент, на котором зациклена основная часть его мыслей во время продуктивного периода, для этого у него есть нужные ресурсы. И этим непрерывно занимаются на земле все живые твари вокруг на протяжении миллиардов лет. Если бы они этим не занимались, то и говорить было бы не о чем, жизни на земле не было бы.

Можно отдельно поговорить об отличии человека от остальных видов, но морфологически - все именно так.

Почему бы и нет. В природе самец чаще всего не раздумывает много о том, доставит он удовольствие партнерше или нет - идет и делает, то, к чему его зовут гормоны. Еще раз повторю, если бы не делал, то жизни на земле бы не было.

У человека - да, есть сбой этого механизма, который неизвестно к чему его приведет. Например, если все начнут задумываться о бессмысленности жизни, то скоро человеческий род прекратит свое существование. А заодно может и остальной живой мир размазать в порошок.
