Как это типично для Ко... увы
Хамы тут есть. Это уже точно.

The retaliation started immediately. The next day my husband went over to advise her that we weren’t going to let this drop. They had thought they had “won” because the cops didn’t do anything. The girlfriend then went on a tirade of how we are ruining their lives and we wouldn’t be doing this if she was a 40 year old woman. This issue comes up a lot with her. Yeah well, a 40 year old woman wouldn’t be so ignorant. The things she was saying were just insane, when all we asked was them to turn down their system. So now they have the music cranked, doors slamming and banging at 5 am, dirty looks, car blocking our driveway, etc. Oh, and her family is full of lawyers so if we want to play the game, it’s on! So, we just record everything and don’t bother even speaking with them.
I feel your pain!!!! When we first moved into our Town House, we had a similar situation. Our Neighbour bought a new home theater to go along with his new house. He was a bar tender who didn't get home untill 3:00 in the morning along with all his co workers. There were a lot of heated discussions and a few calls to the Police. Our problem was not really him, but his "Freinds" that came over to party.
We have a really nice real estate agent coming over to give us some advice. She has seen this situation before, and thought things were likely to get worse for us as time went on. It will be next to impossible to rent out this house in the future with them next door. We may have to wait a year in order to make back some money on the house. I just want to be armed with as much information as possible. And the video taping idea is fantastic. We are going to do that moving forward.
My husband and I have also experienced problems with neighbours when we lived in a townhouse with a shared wall.
In addition to the good suggestion that you collect evidence, which you can then show the police, I would also suggest if you can to get some legal advice. From my experience it was very helpful to talk to a laywer about our situation - that way you know what options you may have available. You may not have to pay that much for some initial advice - only if you follow through. We also notified our neighbours that we had obtained legal advice, which (I think) may have helped in the long run.
We had a very similar problem when we rented. The tenants below us would play loud music at all hours. We complained to the landlord, but they didn't want to loose the rental so they only gave out warnings.
Hey I sympathize! Been there!! You brought back many memories! My first home was a semi back in the very early90s and we too had neighbours from hell! Almost the same thing, neither worked, music blaring all hours, drugs, constant visitors, place a scruffy mess, etc etc (it turns out it was a rental and we were too green to investigate this before buying). We never called Police, just decided it was not worth it to get on their bad side(given the characters we were dealing with), and always just said hello and left it at that. This was good advice from my Dad to keep peace with your neighbours.
Lucky for us they moved out just before we had to sell, and a Pentecostal minister and his family moved in!! What luck, talk about the opposite end of the spectrum, and an ideal neighbour!! The house sold in several weeks!!
The lesson I learned from this experience was never ever buy a semi, if at all possible. Ultimately you really cannot control who is living next to you. But realistically this is not possible for everyone, especially when you are starting out. And most people are lucky, get a good neighbour and dont have to go through what you and I have experienced.
Как минимум четыре из них делали неоднократные звонки в полицию и это не привело к улучшению ситуации.
