512 килобит - это 60 килобайт в секунду. VBUZZER, например, генерирует у меня поток не больше 12 килобайт в секунду - то есть с большим запасом. Даже 128К аплинка будет хватать впритык.

Более того, скорость нужно проверять, так как тарифная скорость это одно, а скорость вашего порта на DSLAM это другое, она может быть зажата, например, на 256/256. Телекому то ли лень этим заниматься, то ли это злой умысел. Проверять и воевать с ними. Обычно 1-2 звонков "какого хрена у меня не та скорость, за которую с меня берут деньги?" достаточно.
Доводилось ли вам общаться с поддержкой телекома? Незабываемое удовольствие.
