Research Analyst position in Vancouver

JOB TITLE: Research Analyst

STATUS: Full time

START DATE: July 2008 (flexible)

LOCATION:

Center for Health Evaluation and Outcome Sciences (CHEOS),
St. Paul’s Hospital, Vancouver, BC

SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications and experience

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

To organize and conduct statistical analyses of large administrative and
research databases

To contribute to publication of study methods and results

To contribute to development of research protocols

Other responsibilities as required

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Master level training in biostatistics, epidemiology, or other
health-related field

Familiarity with standard statistical methods (e.g. linear, logistic,
Poisson, Cox regression)

Experience with methods for analyzing correlated data (i.e., mixed or
hierarchical models) desirable

Experience using SAS statistical software preferred

Ability to work in a team environment and independently
