* Design and Optimization of core network
o Management of device configurations
o Analysis of network performance
o Capacity Planning and Traffic management
o IP Network Address Provisioning
o QoS provisioning, planning and monitoring
o Design and implementation of network fault-tolerance, diversity and disaster recovery initiatives
o Ensure integrity and security of the network
* Managing switching infrastructure between data centers and server farms
o Application performance management
o Switch port management
o Cabling requests
o Troubleshooting
* Implement and manage IP telephony environment
o Design and integration of network resources to support VoIP
o Provisioning bandwidth reservations and Managing QoS boundaries between WAN, and local network infrastructure
o Troubleshooting VoIP connectivity issues
* Implement and manage load-balancing solutions
* Assisting IP support team in identifying and troubleshooting clients network problems
* Develop, implement and maintain policies and procedures for network operations and systems management
* Recommend, schedule, and perform maintenance, upgrades and migrations
* Provide coverage to other team members
Skills:
* Advanced knowledge in network design (Servers, Firewalls, Protocols, Topologies), TCP/IP protocol suite, ARP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, HSRP, subnetting, Ethernet switching, spanning-tree, network security, QoS
* Hands-on expertise in the operational support of Cisco firewalls and VPN appliances
* Proficiency in managing performance and upgrading core network systems utilizing a variety of tools and techniques
* Expert knowledge in deploying and managing Load-balancing technologies
* Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong ability to transfer knowledge and experiences to other technicians
* Effective interpersonal communication and customer service skills
